The product provides moisture for skin, improves scar appearance and make the appearance of scars to smooth and soft skin texture.
Main Ingredients and Properties:
Oligopeptide-1 or EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor): EGF, for Epidermal Growth Factor, is a complex protein that tells your epidermal cells to multiply themselves. This results in thicker and plumped skin. It also can be named as rh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Oligopeptide-1 or even Human Oligopeptide.
It is a biotech ingredient for the prevention of skin aging. Its ability to induce collagen and fibronectin biosynthesis helps improving the appearance of wrinkles and the elasticity of the skin. It acts as a catalyst for the activity for stem cells in the skin layer as well as an important mechanism for repairing tissue cells and wound healing. It can stimulate skin cells to have more collagen synthesis and helps the damaged skin to recovering to better skin condition.
Cyclopentasiloxane (CPX): This ingredient has a unique fluidity that makes it easily spreadable. When applied to the skin and hair, it gives a silky and slippery feeling to the touch and acts a mild water repellent by forming a protective barrier on the skin. It can also fill in fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a temporary "plump" look.
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate: A high-strength oil solution with vitamin C derivative and essential fatty acids. Vitamin C acts as an effective antioxidant, brightens the skin tone, and reduces visible signs of aging. Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble and extremely stable derivative of vitamin C.
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is soluble in oil so it easily penetrates to the dermis offering the following benefits: Fights free radicals that cause premature ageing. Boosts collagen production, keeping skin firm. Increases UV protection, helping to reduce sun damage.
Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil: Researchers found that rosehip seed oil improved the appearance of post-surgical scars. Participants who used the oil twice daily for 12 weeks experienced significantly less discoloration, atrophy, and redness. You may start to see results after six weeks of use.
Rosehip oil may also help reduce the appearance of scarring. One study revealed that linoleic acid can help reduce hyperpigmentation in certain scars. If you have flat, dark-colored scars left over from old acne breakouts, then rosehip could help.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate): Vitamin E speeds wound healing and improves the cosmetic outcome of burns and other wounds. Many people use vitamin E on a regular basis to improve the outcome of scars and several physicians recommend topical vitamin E after skin surgery or resurfacing.
Isononyl Isononanoate: Isononyl Isononanoate is the synthetic ester that functions as an emollient skin-softening agent and soothe the skin. Occurs naturally in cocoa oil and lavender oil.
