The hammer pressed-aluminium cups come in a range of Thai traditional motive. This type of cup was once commonly used in 30-40 years ago time at home, school or temples. Now it is quite rare to find as people shift to more modern style of cups.

I’m a native Chiang Mai citizen, born and raised in the Rose of the North, when I was young in the early 80's, EVERYONE used these wonderful cups  in temples, at restaurants and in home. These cups were everywhere and we loved them! When you filled with a cold drink, they felt so nice.  But nowadays it is more and more difficult to find these great cups,  they just seemed to disappear. Replaced by glass and plastic. But because Lapatrada is living here and I still possible to find them. These would be perfect for outdoor parties and camping trips! Or everyday dining and they are much more ecological than the plastic ones. I thinks you can also use this item as to display finger food or snacks, which will tweak their presentation into the Asian trend back 30 years ago. The cup is brand-new and shiny. It is made from aliminium and pressed into traditional Thai design. It's good with normal to cold temperature food and drinks, unfortunately not hot ones.
